Hi everyone! Connie here from Measured by the Heart. This is my first post on The Ribbon Retreat so let me take a quick minute and introduce myself.

I blog at Measured by the Heart. Where I write about all things DIY. Including home improvements, hair tutorials, recipes, printables, parties and more.

Printables are one of my favorite things to do and I am so excited to show you guys how you can customize your printables.

I started out with these superhero logos.

My name is Connie and I blog at Measured by the Heart. I write about all things DIY. These are fine by themselves. You could print them and hang them up. But I like the idea of customizing them. So they are unique to the boy in your life.

Start by downloading and printing out your logo. Then cut out the basic shape following the outside outline.

As you can see, I wasn’t very careful when cutting. You can do better but also it will blend in.

I took this great red plaid material and put it behind my printable. When picking your fabric, try to go with something where the main color is traditionally in the background of your logo. As you can see, it doesn’t really look like Superman’s logo yet. I will need to cut out and add in the rest of the yellow elements.

Trim off your fabric, place your elements and glue it down. I framed it, but you can do whatever you want with it. Let me show you the other logos and what I did with them.

For the avengers logo, I used a dark blue polka dot material. This one is a little intricate to cut out but you don’t have to place any elements. Just cut it out and put the material behind.

For Batman’s logo I picked this cute orange argyle. You cut out the outer ring and then the bat for this one.

I used the same red plaid for Captain America’s logo. Cut the outer ring and then the middle ring and blue circle for this one.

I loved the way these turned out. I framed mine and hung them in a vertical line. I think they would be great in a boy’s room or a play room.

Hi Alice! Thank you for your question, and I am so sorry for the trouble you are having downloading those images. I went to the images and clicked on them and it let me download them. I was prompted to join the site these images are housed on, but it is free and they just asked for my email address. I hope this helps and that you will be able to download these images now. Thank you Alice and have a wonderful day! Michelle 🙂
